School will open to all pupils from Monday 8th March as per government guidelines.
Please do not send your child to school if they have any of the symptoms for COVID 19 or if they have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID 19.
- Persistent cough
- High temperature
- Loss of taste / Loss of smell.
Anyone with COVID symptoms should self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of their symptoms and register for a test. Members of their household should self-isolate for 1o days - you do not need to get a test unless you develop symptoms.
You can book a test online or by phoning 119.
School have a limited number of testing kits that are available if you have any trouble booking a test.
If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID 19 you MUST self-isolate for 10 days because the incubation period for developing COVID can be up to two weeks. You should not book a test unless you develop symptoms. When self-isolating you need to stay at home - you need to get someone else to do your shopping for you and children must not go out to play.
Home learning will be provided for all children who have to stay at home as a result of having to self-isolate. Please see 'remote learning' under the Key Information tab.
