Induction Information PowerPoint

16th June 2021

As the Covid 19 Roadmap has been postponed due to rising cases, it is with regret to inform you that we have cancelled the Induction Meeting scheduled for 30th June and the Stay and Play sessions in July. Lancashire County Council have advised to plan alternative arrangements for transition to limit the spread of the virus. I know that this is disappointing but the health and safety of our pupils, families and staff is of greatest importance.

Alternative arrangements are as follows:
  • Class Dojo will be used as the main method of contact between school and home. You are able to contact myself, the Headteacher Mrs Barnes and your child's class teacher via messenger.
  • Class teachers will introduce themselves on Class Dojo.
  • A virtual induction presentation will be uploaded on Class Dojo including key information you will need for September.
  • Class teachers will contact your child's current setting to learn more about them.
  • All About Me booklets from home will be used to plan exciting activities for your child when they start Nursery or Reception Class
Please can I ask that you provide a Birth Certificate to the school office for copying as proof of identity for your child before Friday 16th July. At this time, you may hand in the All About Me booklets and any outstanding admission paperwork.

Please see below arrangements for September.
